Children's β¦ Penny’s Take
The Copernicus Legacy
Tony Abbott Β· 2014
80/100
π Worth It
Tony Abbott threads the needle perfectly for middle-grade adventure: globe-trotting, historical mystery, a strong ensemble cast, and just enough peril to keep pages turning without crossing into territory parents will regret. The Copernicus framing weaves real astronomical history into the adventure naturally, and comparisons to Rick Riordan are fair β this has that same sense of wonder around discovery. A genuinely strong series opener for ages 9 and up.
