Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
The Dinosaur That Pooped a Planet!
Tom Fletcher · 2017
72/100
👍 Worth It
Fletcher and Poynter's rhyming verse is genuinely rollicking — the cosmic escalation of Dino eating the moon, then Mars, then Saturn is exactly the kind of absurdist silliness that makes kids beg for a second reading. Potty humor is the engine and parents who find it tiresome will find a lot of it here, but for the right audience (ages 3-7 who find poop jokes endlessly delightful) this hits its mark squarely. A proven bestseller with strong read-aloud bones.
