This Wishbone mystery is clean, friendly, and perfectly paced for its target age group, and the paleontology museum setting gives it a fun nonfiction hook. But its appeal is almost entirely dependent on whether a kid already loves the Wishbone TV series, and without any documented critical standing for this particular volume it's a modest, franchise-dependent read rather than a must-have.
