Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
The Dragon and the Swordmaker

👍 Worth It
A solid graphic novel entry point for young fantasy readers — the twist on a lesser-known fairy tale gives it a fresher feel than most fractured-fairy-tale fare, and the dragon-as-unexpected-helper premise lands with genuine warmth. The educational back matter makes it a useful classroom tool as well as a pleasure read. Very short and light, but it delivers exactly what it promises for its audience.
