The co-illustrator backstory — a four-year-old niece who drew the pictures — is genuinely heartwarming, and the Feelings Glossary and coloring pages give educators something to work with. But the color-emotion metaphor is well-worn territory, small-press distribution limits reach, and the production quality is uneven enough to give pause.
