Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
The Itsy Bitsy Spider
Joe Rhatigan · 2017
70/100
👍 Worth It
If you have a toddler who already knows the song, this book is going to delight them — Rhatigan extends the nursery rhyme into a string of genuinely silly insect scenarios that land exactly right for the 2–5 crowd, and Carolina Farias's illustrations bring the energy. It's light on educational substance and the older picture-book audience will move past it quickly, but as a joyful lap-reading experience for little ones it does exactly what it promises.
