Zannos does a reasonable job of making Socrates and the Socratic method accessible to fourth through sixth graders, and the contextualization within Athenian political life is a genuine plus. The 48-page format means it is necessarily thin on philosophical depth, but as a curriculum introduction it serves its purpose. A useful library buy for a school collection; not a title most readers outside a classroom context will seek out.
