The lenticular tilt-to-reveal format is a genuinely fun novelty for a two-year-old, and the African wildlife angle gives it a small educational edge over a generic alphabet board book. But at 10 pages this is essentially a branded toy rather than a book, and the Lion Guard tie-in limits its shelf life now that the series has ended. There are more substantive board books for toddlers in this age range.
