Ann Fullick is a capable science education author and this covers the middle-school biology curriculum competently, but a 25-year-old 80-page reference book is a hard sell when free, current, and searchable resources are everywhere. It was built for library supplementary shelves in 1999 and it shows. Still functional as a very brief curriculum overview, but students would be better served by more current materials.
