Children's ✦ Penny’s Take

👍 Worth It
Aki's vibrant, Madeline-inspired illustrations are genuinely beautiful and the rhyming text makes for a joyful read-aloud — five biomes explored with real energy and wonder. The science is thin and there's almost no plot, but for the youngest nature-curious kids this works as a gorgeous gateway book. A solid pick for the picture-book shelf, just don't expect a real field guide.
