Children's ✦ Penny’s Take

👎 Skip It
Genuinely funny for its moment — a neighbourhood-broadcasting proto-tech plot in 1984 is pretty clever — and the short length makes it great for reluctant readers. The problem is it's out of print, nearly impossible to find, and the tech references are hilariously dated in ways that don't charm like Verne does. Worth it if you stumble across a library copy, but not worth hunting.
