A cheerful PAW Patrol tie-in that does exactly what it promises — bright pictures, familiar pups, a simple friendship lesson — but the plot is thin even by picture-book standards and the book exists primarily to sell the brand. Young PAW Patrol fans will enjoy it as a gift item, but there is little here that a good standalone picture book couldn't do better.
