Elina Ellis runs the same comedy engine that powers her companion book — text sets up a tired stereotype, art immediately demolishes it — and for this age group it works beautifully. The illustrations do most of the storytelling, and Quentin Blake comparisons are earned; every spread earns a genuine laugh. It is very short and text-light, but as a shared read-aloud between a child and their grandparent it is close to perfect.
