The Wonderful School

👍 Worth It
Miss Tillie O'Toole and her riddle-and-rhyme classroom are a genuine delight — this 1971 classic holds up because the joy it captures is timeless. It is more mood than story, but for a read-aloud moment before the school year starts, the lyrical text and inclusive illustrations do exactly the right job. Short, sweet, and worth having on the shelf.
