Essentially the same assessment as the 1997 edition — this is a well-made, educator-praised children's reference that was a reliable 1990s household staple, now 28 years out of date for any current fact-checking use. The geography crossword puzzles and religion overview are nice touches, but like its predecessor, this is a niche purchase for period research rather than a general recommendation.
