The Write Direction

A systematic, process-driven writing curriculum with proper teacher-guide support is genuinely useful in the classroom, and the five-stage writing process framework is sound. The issue is that this is a curriculum program requiring teacher facilitation, not a book a child or parent picks up independently — and with zero independent critical reviews and likely out-of-print status, it is hard to track down and harder to evaluate. Teachers already using it may find value; for everyone else it is a difficult case to make.
