Sonia Mehta's picture book wraps childhood fear in a gentle peer-support story, and the warm tone is reassuring for anxious four-to-eight-year-olds. The peer-support model is emotionally sound, but the plot is thin even for this age range, and the English-language critical record is slim. A perfectly adequate classroom tool within its niche, but there are stronger choices in this space if you have options.
