A 24-page photo-packed biography of Spider-Man himself is going to be a hit with Marvel-loving 9-12 year olds, and the arc from British theater kid to Hollywood lead is genuinely inspirational. Enslow's Junior Bios series is a reliable school-library staple. The content is necessarily thin at this length, and the tone is admiring rather than analytical, but for its target reader that is exactly right.
