Tom's Midnight Garden Graphic Novel

π Worth It
This graphic-novel version of the Carnegie Medal classic earned real praise from trade reviewers for capturing the original's sense of wonder, with especially evocative art from illustrator Edith. It necessarily trims some of the introspective depth of Pearce's prose, but it's a lovely, atmospheric way to introduce kids to Tom's time-slipping garden. A faithful, well-made adaptation.
