π Worth It
A Troodon and a Hadrosaur becoming friends in the late Cretaceous is exactly the kind of premise that earns a middle-grader's trust, and the IPPY Bronze Award confirms the execution backs it up. The paleontological detail is woven in rather than dumped in, and the emotional core β two outsiders finding each other β is genuine. Stronger readers may want more prose complexity, but for the target age this is a warm, well-earned story.
