π Skip It
A serviceable school-report biography that does the job for an elementary student needing a quick overview of Venus Williams's early career. The problem is the book stops around 2002, leaving out two decades of her most remarkable accomplishments, so it reads more like a historical artifact than a living portrait. Fine if the shelf date doesn't matter, but there are more current options.
