What It Means to Be a Big Sister

Sweet in purpose and accessible in rhyme, this debut picture book does what it sets out to do — reassure young children who are about to become older siblings. The self-published origin limits editorial polish, and its narrow window of relevance (the weeks around a new baby's arrival) keeps it from having lasting shelf life. Fine for a targeted gift but not a must-have.
