DK's 3D cartography approach to world history is genuinely impressive — making civilizations, trade routes, and migration patterns visually legible for young readers is hard work, and this volume does it across 60-plus maps. It is a reference supplement rather than a cover-to-cover read, and some post-2015 history will feel thin, but as a starting point for curious history students it earns its shelf space.
