Angels as messengers, guardians, and rebels is a richer thematic spread than most entries in this series, and Balaam's talking donkey is a genuinely entertaining story at any age. Five stories instead of four gives this slight extra value within the series. Production values are still dated and the formula is unchanged, but for the target Christian-family audience, the topic naturally holds children's attention. Full-cast dramatization is the right format — this was built for the ear.
