Children's ✦ Penny’s Take

A perfectly competent touch-and-feel board book that does the genre basics — diverse characters, sensory texture, simple seasonal concepts — without distinguishing itself in any meaningful way. At 10 pages the content is genuinely thin even for the target age. There are stronger touch-and-feel options on the market, and this PBS-branded title brings nothing unique enough to earn a confident recommendation.
✦ Penny’s Take — this is The Review Group’s own editorial assessment. Penny’s analytical review line researched this book from real sources and scored it across the lenses shown below. It’s an honest first-party read — not a page-by-page personal one. The gold ✓ Penny Tested mark is reserved for books Penny reads cover to cover herself.
