When this came out in 2001 it was genuinely useful — contact information, submission guidelines, insider interviews all in one place. Twenty-five years later the publishing landscape has been remade twice over, most contact details are wrong, and the market analysis reflects a world that no longer exists. There is some historical interest for writers curious how the industry worked at the turn of the millennium, but as a working reference it is not fit for purpose.
