Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
X Files #01 X Marks the Spot
Les Martin · 1995
55/100
👎 Skip It
For a young X-Files fan in 1995 this was probably exactly what they wanted — a short, accessible version of the pilot with aliens and Mulder's paranoid energy. Reviewed critically, though, it has real problems: stilted dialogue, basic prose, and meaningful divergence from the actual broadcast episode. Serves a narrow historical niche (young X-Files enthusiasts with a curiosity about the 90s phenomenon) and not much beyond it.
