Peanuts characters make the new-sibling moment feel warm and safe for little ones, and the read-aloud rhythm is comfortable. But this is a licensed adaptation, not original Schulz, and it is more of a mood piece than a book with real substance or story. Plenty of better new-sibling titles exist.
